If you are around this Thursday 2/13, we invite you to the upcoming reception for the “Animal Within” exhibition, taking place from 5 to 7 PM at the Environmental Education Center (see somersetcountyparks.org/environmental-education-center for times and location) and runs until March 10. This exhibition features the work of our Ridge AP Studio Art, Honors Art Major, and Photography students.
Inspired by the intricate connection between human and animal nature, the pieces on display offer a thought-provoking look at this relationship. From animals expressing their instincts to insects adopting domestic roles and reptiles displaying unexpected tenderness, the artwork invites you to explore a world where boundaries between species fade and the essence of the animal kingdom comes alive.
