My Fleeting Suns Warmth

“My Fleeting Suns Warmth”

The moon and sun are forever entwined

Yet we perceive each differently in our minds

The moon shines only with what light the sun provides

Its form is ever changing just like an ocean’s tide

A moon is depicted as calm and cold

While pale at first it always has a heart of gold

Only seen as evil, forgotten for meaning change

Forever lost in our eyes and estranged

A sun is depicted as bright and warm

Its shape never changing in form

Filled with depictions of clarity and life

Yet this too can burn the skin like cut by a knife

The moon and sun are forever entwined

Because for the balance they must be aligned

Without the sun the moon can’t shine

We forget the the moon is also the suns spine

Fated lovers,

Star crossed

Forever.

Once was a sun, My alabaster skin blessed as a moon child’s glow

Deserves the heat of a sun, my sun, and it’s not been forgoed

Yearning to shine under its wonderful warmth once more

Yearning to be seen as a sun, maybe only their sun, just as before

Yet the moon and suns eternal chase

Is a forever constant pace

The moon has kissed my cheek

And I’ve once more become bleak

I’ll be loved by the moon forever

But a sun, my sun has always been a never

I wish to be blinded by its beauty once again

Lay in its soft caress, to be seen in a different light then

I.

Am unbalanced endlessly

Maybe the sun and moon

   are forever

And it’s me,

…who is star crossed however.
