I begin my acceptance speech: I would like to start by extending my thanks to the entire UCF College of Business staff and community, especially the Department of Management and the Black Stone Launchpad. Established at UCF by Cameron Ford, this program has been the source of my success. From one-on-one mentorship to providing resources to develop my ideas, the support I received was unparalleled. I learned the essential skills of marketing, pitch building, delivery, and more. Each week, I looked forward to attending the Starter Sandbox Entrepreneurship Workshop, hosted by Dr. Ford, where I learned how to confidently succeed in a work environment and build a “winning team.” My success first started when my team won UCF’s Ideas Competition. Throughout high school, I was highly involved in community services and held many leadership positions. With these experiences, I was no stranger to taking the initiative and excelling in group collaboration. I would like to thank the mentors who guided me as a part of the EXCHANGE program. This is yet another program that exposed me to the workings of the business world. Moreover, I would like to thank Knightline for the numerous internship opportunities, through which I was connected to Ernst & Young. These experiences provided me with hands-on experiences and opportunities to forge lasting relationships…
